Applicants for the uniform CPA exam in Arizona must complete a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited institution including at least 24 hours of accounting courses, of which 12 hours are upper level (beyond basic or introductory) courses, and shall also include 18 hours in related business courses.

Applicants for Arizona CPA certification must complete 150 semester hours of education, including a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited institution, 36 semester hours of accounting courses (30 of which must be upper level), and 30 semester hours of related business courses.

The minimum requirements for a PE license include completion of a BS degree in Engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited engineering program; successful completion of the Fundamental of Engineering (FE) Exam; successful completion of the Professional Engineer (PE) Exam; and 4-years of work experience as specified by the state’s licensing board.
Completion of Georgia Southern’s Bachelor of Science Programs in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering meet the educational requirements to begin the licensure process in New Hampshire, by providing the coursework necessary to sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination. Software Engineering does not have a specific PE examination. It is typically recommended that candidates sit for their FE exam toward the end of their senior year, or soon after graduation.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification (before becoming licensed): To earn your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification via “Pathway 1,” which is offered in the Georgia Southern Department of Psychology, you must: a) Earn a Master’s degree from an Association of Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) verified program, b) Obtain 2,000 hours of supervised fieldwork, and c) Pass the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) BCBA Certification Exam. The MS – Psychology (Behavior Analysis Concentration) degree provides the Association of Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) verified coursework. In addition, through some elective course options, students could begin accruing supervised field work hours, however, it is not guaranteed that 2,000 may be earned while enrolled in the program. An individual is eligible to apply for initial certification as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or radiation therapy technologist if the individual: 1. Is at least 18 years of age; and 2. Satisfies one of the following: a. Holds current applicable ARRT or NMTCB certification, b. Has completed a Department-approved educational program in radiation technology and has a passing score on a Department-approved examination, or c. Meets the criteria in A.R.S. § 32-4302(A). If an applicant did not complete a Department-approved program, they may submit the following for approval: An applicant may request Department approval of a curriculum of courses and learning activities as a training program by submitting an application packet that contains: 1. An application, in a Department-provided format, that includes: a. The name and address of the school providing the training program; b. The name, title, telephone number, and e-mail address of the administrator or designee of the school; and c. A list of each training program for which approval is being requested, including the number of hours of instruction provided for each; 2. A copy of the curriculum that includes course titles and course descriptions; and 3. A list of instructors providing the instruction and the credentials of each. C. The Department shall: 1. Review each application packet according to R9-16-621; and 2. If approved, add the applicant’s school to the list of Department-approved educational programs in subsection (A). D. If an applicant for certification or permit did not complete a Department-approved educational program, the applicant may submit to the Department a copy of the curriculum for the training program completed by the applicant with the applicant’s application packet in R9-16-606(B), R9-16-607(A), or R9-16-609(A). **The majority of Department-approved educational programs are also accredited by the JRCERT. This could infer that educational standards would be equivalent between all JRCERT-accredited programs.*** If an individual is licensed/certified in another state for a minimum of 12 months, there is reciprocity for AZ.
